From Bestseller to Limited Editions: The Evolution of Our Specialty Collections

Our standard Blind Date with a Book sets became the heart of our business, and it quickly became clear that we had created something customers loved coming back for. After achieving Best-Selling Product of 2025 at The Bristol Bazaar, with over 2,000 Blind Date with a Book sets sold, we set out for a new goal for 2026… keep evolving. But how could we do this while maintaining our most loved products and loyal customers? The decision was clear to me.

Our specialty collections received so much love in the past. From our Mother’s Day Collections featuring mini dried florals and spa masks, to our Christmas in July collection bringing the vibes of the holiday season to the warm summer months, these collections brought something new and exciting to shoppers alongside our standard edition books.

With a goal of bringing variety to our best-selling product, and a personal challenge to design and recreate a limited edition collection much more frequently, I set the goal to release a new collection every single month.

Our specialty collection books feature a selected genre/theme, exclusive accessories and themed decorations, extra gifts, and are always limited edition.

Collections Released So Far in 2026

January 2026 - The Gilded Collection

If you don’t already know, the Bristol Bazaar constantly reinvents the shopping experience by retheming the entire store about every three months. With the launch of The Roaring 20’s & Great Gatsby experience, we set out to create a collection that captured the opulence of the Gilded Age and the glamour of the Roaring 20’s. With pearls, champagne, and Newport Mansions as inspiration, these books were a celebration of everything historical fiction readers love.

February 2026 - The Sugar & Spice Collection

We couldn’t miss an opportunity to create a collection around our top-selling genre - romance! For Valentine’s Day season, we released the Sugar and Spice Collection featuring exclusive themed decorations and accessories, a lip mask treatment, and the sweetest (and spiciest) wrapping yet. With a book for all romance tropes - this collection brought the clean and wholesome with all the spice.

March 2026 - The Curated Chapter Collaboration Box

In March, we debuted our newest project “The Curated Chapter” - a themed box, released quarterly, featuring a themed Blind Date with a Book and one to two other small business collaborators. Our first rendition included a choice of two books celebrating stories of womanhood, strength, and self-discovery, paired with a crochet bookmark by Kitty’s Knitty Creation and a pair of polymer clay earrings by Just Clay by Christiane. Released in celebration of International Women’s Day, this collection also gives back, with a portion of proceeds from every sale donated to She Leads Justice CT.

April 2026 - The Mystical Library Deluxe Collection

April will bring our first-ever deluxe variation of our Blind Date with a Book set, featuring Romantasy and Magical Realism - and you won’t want to miss it. What makes it “deluxe”? Follow us on Instagram @daydreammade_ for the reveal!

Our specialty collections are always limited edition, and many sell out quickly. While The Gilded Collection and Sugar & Spice Collection have sold out for the year, you can still find The Curated Chapter Box at The Bristol Bazaar until it sells out.
